Case Reports in Dermatology is pleased to announce an open call for case reports and case series focused on infectious dermatology covering topics inclusive of viral, bacterial, fungal, and parasitic diseases.
This collection aims to highlight clinically significant presentations, diagnostic challenges, and management approaches across the full spectrum of skin infections.
Recently published cases from the journal have focused on viral reactivations, fungal diseases, inflammation, sexually transmitted infections, and chronic bacterial infections. We welcome cases that build on these important topics.
Suggested topics include (but are not limited to):
- Rare or atypical cutaneous manifestations of infectious diseases
- Emerging or re-emerging infectious pathogens
- Diagnostic challenges and common mimickers
- Infections affecting immunosuppressed populations
- Cutaneous signs of systemic or multi-organ infections
- Treatment resistant infections
