Cells Tissues Organs is pleased to announce a call for a review article collection. We welcome comprehensive, critical, and forward-looking reviews that synthesize recent advances and emerging concepts across the broad spectrum of cell, tissue, and organ biology inclusive of stem cells and regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and developmental biology of organs and tissues.
Submissions are welcome that bridge basic science and translational research, highlight methodological innovations, or propose new frameworks for understanding development, regeneration, and disease.
Suggested topics include (but are not limited to):
- Comparative anatomy and histology
- Immune cells in tissue development and homeostasis
- Mechanisms of wound healing and tissue repair
- Neurons and glia in stem cell systems
- In vitro modelling
- Advances in molecular and functional profiling
