Significant scientific advances in immunotherapy and targeted therapy approaches have improved clinical outcomes and increased treatment options for patients with advanced or metastatic genitourinary malignancies. From antibody-drug conjugates and fibroblast growth factor receptor inhibitors for urothelial cancer to reversal of treatment resistance in prostate cancer and alternatives to extirpative therapy in penile cancer, promising new treatment options have been explored in the past years.
We are pleased to announce a call for papers for an article collection focused on "Current Treatment Concepts for Advanced Genitourinary Tumors". We welcome original research, review articles, and case studies that shed light on innovative treatment approaches and strategies for advanced or metastasized genitourinary tumors. We are particularly interested in papers that discuss novel therapeutic strategies, advancements in diagnostic techniques, molecular and genomic aspects of advanced urothelial carcinoma, prostate cancer, renal cell carcinoma, testicular cancer, or penile cancer, and their impact on patient outcomes.
